How much does it cost to run the repeaters?
By running the repeaters for part of the day, the electricity charges have been kept below £500 per annum. Of that, £245 is the standing charge that is paid irrespective of how much electricity the Group uses. Other costs, including site rent and RSGB Repeater Insurance, brings the annual cost of running the repeaters to £765.
